This past Wednesday 8 November, we lost our beloved Sylvie Ransome. Tributes and messages of support have been flooding in particularly evidenced by a dedication from her friend Rose (see page 1). Dear all, having more or less emerged from the cloud of tissues and lemsip, I just wanted to thank you all for the great send-off on Friday. I appreciate it all so much, the spread, the presents and cards, and most of all you lovely beings coming along. I thought Methodists on leaving a post got a posy, a card and a warm handshake, so I was well shook at your munificence. A huge thanks to everyone who must have put in a lot of work be-hind the scenes, especially our Rach and our Caroline. I hope to be up and about for church on Sunday. Much love, Elin……and more….

Our service last Sunday, was a true celebration of the love we all share in HMC. It was a great pleasure to witness the baptism of Harmony and to join in with her family and friends to welcome her into the faith. To see and feel God at work in our church was so beautiful! Sue Jacobs visited Sandy last
weekend and was able to spend a
couple of hours with her. There was
a Chaplain present and they were all
able to share communion together.
The lovely card and gifts from HMC
were very well received. Terry and
Alison have also been up to visit,
and Sandy is hoping to be able to
come home soon and more….

poor Sandy is still in her hospital in Hereford (she hasn’t got as far as Birmingham yet) awaiting a bed. Terry and Alison are going up to Hereford to visit and talk to the consultant. We are praying for her full and safe recovery. Here she is, unable to move very much, bless her and more.
