Street Party 2024 you were completely amazing. The love of our community filled the street and it was just beautiful. We also raised a whopping…drum roll please… £1000 from kind donations, sales of burgers, hot dogs, teas & coffees, soft drinks and cakes!! Thank you to all who helped and all who came and supported. Earlier this week, a delegation from HMC (church and circuit admin) embarked on an expedition or ‘Love Lunch’ mission if you will, to assess and report back on the welfare of our recently retired member, Elin Star. After the arduous trek up the Portland Road, we were received and refreshed with pies, sandwiches, cakes and squash; then sent back to headquarters with glad tidings of retirement bliss, the evidence of which we captured in this photo! and more….
