Our beloved Jacqui passed away during the early hours last Friday morning. We could not have wished her to linger on, but she has left a huge gap in our lives. She was a beautiful soul, an example of love in action; flowing, laughing and dancing. She joined us as a pillar of lunch club, then quickly became a pillar of this church and Rachel’s right hand at Chatty Café and church events. The outpouring of love following her passing is the best testament to her and more.

This Sunday at 3pm Rev Deborah Cornish will be leading a Circuit Offering service at Patcham church. The service will include the dedication of the Easter Offering, all of which goes to the World Mission Fund of the Methodist Church in Britain, supporting and working with over 100 Partner Churches and organisations around the world and more.

We start celebrating Easter at sunrise (6am) with Rev Andy Lowe on the beach by the King Alfred centre. Then with Rev Kathleen Richardson in the church at 10.30. As the sun moves round the globe, we are part of the wave of Christians worldwide celebrating our Risen Lord and more.
