Some of the events taking place in and around the church in the next few weeks
Spiritual, Social, Secular
Worship is at the centre of our spiritual life here at Hove. We meet every Sunday at 10:30 to give praise and thanks to God. Details of our services and other opportunities for worship, prayer and fellowship can be found on our worship page.
Harvest Festival
Our Harvest Festival will be on 13th and 14th September. This is earlier than usual this year because of the 40 Days of Purpose spiritual growth course that begins on 21st September and runs continuously for 40 days.
Church Project- Aquaboxes
This year the Church council has agreed that we will be raising money to fund Aquaboxes.
Following our successful Autumn fair, we have now purchased some empty Aquaboxes.
Can you help?
Aquabox needs donations of essential household and culinary equipment and hygiene items to send to victims of natural or humanitarian disasters.
If you would like to contribute some items:
Sign your name against the lists on display in the Narthex or in the Crush Hall, Items do not have to be new, but they MUST be clean and in good working order.
Bring your donations to our monthly breakfast and enjoy a cup of coffee and find out more about the Aquabox project.
If you are part of a church group e.g. housegroup etc. and your group would like to take responsibility for filling a box, please contact Maggie Symes.
For further information on this project, or if you can't make these dates, please contact Maggie Symes through the Church Office.
Church Council Meeting
There will be a meeting of the Church Council on TBA. Will members please take their agendas from the pigeon holes.
As always the meeting is open to all church members but only Council members may vote.
Our spiritual growth course begins on 21st September. More information can be found here.
