Kids Space

Fellowship Room Wall PaintingThe children of Hove Methodist Church play a very active part in the life of the church. They are integral to our Sunday worship and join in at the beginning before they go out to learn more in Sunday club.

We separate into three groups, Eagles. Lions and Fishes.

Eagles is the group for junior school age children and take the theme of 'Exploring Eagles' as we strive to explore our faith, using stories, music, songs, craft work and worship and just thinking about what our response is to God and how we as Christians should live as Jesus taught us. Traditionally the apostle John is referred to as an Eagle.

Lions is the group for infant school age children and the theme is Learning Lions. We learn stories from the Bible and have a lot of fun in the process. The apostle Mark is often referred to as a Lion.

Fishes are the pre-school children with the emphasis on fun though stories, songs, games and craft. No link to any disciples - but a lot of them were fishermen.
